Minneapolis Spring Tree Care
spring tree care
Spring is one of the busiest season for arborists. The Winters in Minnesota can be long and often Spring feels shorter because of the amount of rain and cooler temperatures. Spring is also a great time to prepare your trees and landscaping for the long, hot summer months. Some of things you should start doing to prepare your trees for the summer:
Visually inspect your trees for any damage that might have occurred over Winter. Remove any broken or branches that have fallen off during Winter
Be sure to remove any Christmas lights from trees; they could potentially inhibit growth if left wrapped around the trunk during Spring/Summer
Although Winter is the best time for pruning, you can still remove any dead, damaged or broken branches in Spring. Contact us for an estimate on tree trimming or pruning
Many insects and diseases become active during the Spring months. Contact us for your plant healthcare and EAB prevention services.
Springtime means a lot of activity for plants, but also for insects and other pests that could pose a threat to your trees, plants or landscaping. Contact us and have one of our certified arborists come out for a free inspection.
