Covid-19 and Shadywood Tree Experts

In the 50-plus years since Shadywood Tree Experts has served the Twin Cities area, we’ve weathered many storms. Sometimes literally. Through it all, our main concerns have always been our employees and our relationships with you, our customers. COVID-19 is a different kind of storm for our small business to weather, and we’re keeping our people and you top of mind as we navigate through a pandemic with the rest of the state, country, and world. 

We are still open Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00, with some of our office staff and arborists set up to work from home. They are available via email, website requests or the phone to talk to you about your tree care needs and to set up spring services. Please note, the office is closed for walk-in service.

Measures we’re taking to keep you, our staff and the public safe

The nature of our outdoor work is helpful in that we typically do not have people congregate in close quarters, but we have looked at every aspect of our work and adapted protocols to comply with social distancing and disinfection guidelines including the following: 

• Reducing in-person contact with customers. We can rely on phone and email for you to communicate with our arborists or office staff to give details about the work needed. Our arborists have cell phones and tablets with them, which makes communicating easy even when not in-person 

• The office is closed for walk-in service

• Staff are traveling in separate vehicles to avoid close, enclosed contact

• We have supplied staff with disinfecting products for their vehicles

• If any employee is sick, they are not to report to work, and will still be paid

• While working, all employees must stay at least 6 feet away from everyone else
